Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Many people think it must be difficult to rent a car or have their car rented through Movie Star Motors. It actually is pretty easy. These are some of the most common questions we have had presented to us.

If you do not see an answer to a question you might have below, please contact us at casting@moviestarmotors.com and we will answer it as quickly as we can.

How long does it usually take to find a car for a production?

It usually takes about three to six weeks. The more rare and/or specific the car, the longer it will take. For example if you are looking for a non-specific car from the 1980’s it will most likely be very quick to find. However, if you are looking for an Aston Martin Lagonda with powder blue paint, then it will take considerably longer.

Remember to plan your production accordingly to allow time to find the vehicle you need.

Do you provide other vehicles besides cars?

Of course! We can provide many different types of vehicles, such as airplanes, boats, motorcycles, buses, limousines, ATV’s and much more. Just tell us what you need and we will give you a time frame as to how long it might take to find it.

Remember to plan your production accordingly to allow time to find the vehicle you need.

Does your car have to be a classic or in great condition?

No. Your car could be dented with faded paint. It could be missing a bumper. It could have rust. As long as it runs and can get safely to and from a production it can be used.

There are many productions that need many different types of vehicles in very many different levels of condition. It all depends on what the needs of the scene of the production is.
